The Growhaus is a non-profit urban farm and marketplace in Denver, Colorado. It provides fresh, healthy, and locally grown food to people and communities in need through direct-to-consumer sales, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs, nutrition and cooking education, and food access projects. Project Angel Heart is a non-profit organization that delivers medically tailored meals and nutrition education to people living with life-threatening illnesses throughout Colorado. Its mission is to improve health and wellbeing through food, love, and connection. Project Angel Heart provides meals based on individualized recommended diets tailored to meet the needs of clients living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, kidney disease, congestive heart failure, and other life-threatening illnesses across the state. Prodigy Coffeehouse

Prodigy Ventures

The Prodigy Ventures Apprenticeship Program is an eight-week intensive hands-on program designed to introduce participants to a variety of craft coffee and beverage preparation techniques. This program is based in Denver, Colorado and is offered through the Prodigy Ventures organization, a leading specialty coffee training organization. The apprenticeship program is designed to give aspiring baristas an immersive and comprehensive coffee education, helping them to become skilled coffee professionals. The program includes six weeks of classroom and hands-on coffee brewing and espresso preparation training and two weeks of on-the-job apprenticeship at selected local coffee bars. Participants receive direct instruction from experienced professionals, while they gain a solid foundation in equipment maintenance, proper extraction techniques, flavor profiling, and espresso drink making.
